| Our restaurant has a fine reputation for serving great local produce freshly prepared by our highly experienced chef Adrian Newcombe. The extensive evening menu has a great line up of starters and main dishes for all tastes and, if you are still ready for more, our home made puddings are worth the calories. Less formally, at lunch we offer traditional English dishes as well as a variety of baguettes and rolls with mouth watering fillings. You will also find some of our favourite dishes, often made with our own ales. Gunner's Daughter sausages always feature somewhere on the menu. There is a seasonal specials board for both lunch and dinner. The restaurant can cater for up to 40 people while the small 'snug' is suitable for more intimate gatherings of 10 or 12.
