The Old Cannon Brewery started life in 1845 with Fordhams Of Ashwell, owners of pubs basing their brewing in the center of Bury St Edmunds.
The old brewery building is now accommodation with 7 en-suite bedrooms with the brewing now taking place in the main building.
We now make our brews in 2500 pint batches with a focus on traditional English Ales. Using Northern Brewers yeast.
Tris, our Brewer is nearly as old as the Cannon having been with us for 21 years and has no idea how much beer he has made in his time here.
